My sisters, Paula and Molly, and I recently returned from Australia, where we greeted the New Year in Sydney, hiked to the top of Mount Koskiuszko, the highest mountain in Australia, and snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef.
The purpose of our trip was for my sisters to join me in reaching the summit of my final of the 8 Seven Summits. But after such a tough year for our family, with dad passing away on February 21st and mom on October 4th, the trip took on more meaning.
